Hello, I’m Ryan. I grew up in a hair salon... literally. Back home in Alaska, my mom was a hairstylist and when us kids came along my dad built her a salon attached to our house. So I guess you could say hair is in my DNA. I’ve been behind the chair professionally for over 18 years now, bringing a mix of cross country knowledge and a relaxed, educative and personalized experience to every appointment.

My career in hair started in Columbus, Ohio where I went to school, and then I was off to San Diego to start my apprenticeship. After my apprenticeship, I spent years honing my craft in Denver and Atlanta before finally making my way back to the PNW and settling in Seattle. Along the way, I picked up a master barbering degree in Atlanta and went through a rigorous training program at Seattle's Antonio Salon, perfecting everything from precision cutting to advanced color. I have also been certified and specialize in non-surgical hair restoration (hairpieces).

When I’m not in the salon, I stay active and most of my hobbies also involve working with my hands. You can usually find me working out, backpacking through the PNW, tinkering with my van and motorcycle, wood working, building Kokedama’s or trying to find space for my ever-growing collection of houseplants. I feel I bring that same hands on energy and attention to detail to every client. I especially love creating highly textured, easy to style undone looks. I also have a passion for the more cutting edge, visually striking sharp and angled.
